SYDNEY SCHOOLS SHOOTOUT 2018 – (PL Policy: SUA/10804)
Premier & Development
- All games will be running clock- 2 x 20 minutes halves with the clock stopping for time- outs and every whistle in the last 1 minute of the 2nd Half (if the score is less than 11 points)
- Each team will be allowed 2 time-outs (taken at any point in the game). Premier Division – A 24-second shot clock is used. (3 bench staff)
- 3-minute break for half time in all games.
All games will be running clock- 2 x 15 minutes halves with the clock stopping for time-outs and every whistle in the last 1 minute of the 2nd Half (if the score is less than 11 points).
Each team will be allowed 2 time-outs (taken at any point in the game).
There is no over-time and draws will be scored as per points below. However, An over-time of 2 minutes will be played in Finals games only. Each team will be allowed one time-out during the over-time period.

Results/Points system is as follows:
- Win = 3
- Draw = 2
- Loss = 1
Should Teams finish on the same number of points in their pool at the end of their round games, then positions will be decided on.
The result of the game between 2 teams and then the points for and against, (only between the teams involved). Points differential is used whereby points scored against are divided by points scored for. The lowest score progresses.
Eg . Team A scores 100 for and has 90 against = 0.9. Team B scores 50 for and 40 against = 0.8. Therefore, Team B progresses.
Selection policy: Teams may use 12 players that should stay within the division of their first game. However, Juniors may play up in development and development may play up to premier. A player that receives minutes in both halves of a higher grade will be strongly discouraged from returning to their original grade. The tournament director reserves the right to adjudicate on the status of players used across multiple teams.
